Course Summary
Combine the mechanical with the electrical, and help to design the world we live in. Immerse yourself in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering studying our MEng (Hons) degree course: our four-year course lets you explore mechanics and automation, electronics and computing. Study in Chelmsford and work towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status when you graduate.
Entry Requirement
128 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent) including Mathematics.
4 GCSEs including English Language and Science grade C, or grade 4 or above, and Maths grade B or grade 6.
IELTS score of 6 or above.
In order to progress from level 5 of the BEng course onto level 5 of the MEng course students will normally be required to have successfully completed level 5 of the BEng course at the first attempt and obtained an overall mark of 60% or above. Each student meeting the criteria and expressing an interest in transferring will be interviewed with a view to exploring their motivation and suitability for the course.
All tariff points must come from A levels. Points from AS levels cannot be counted towards the total tariff points required for entry to this course.
